It doesnt sound like it, if you are not baptized then they have no sanctions they can use against you so why are you making any effort at all to quit, just quit.

GAD amongst JWs and/or ex-JWs.
by tenene ini have been following the oscar pistorius trial, and as some of you would know, the way he grew up is said to have affected his psychy.
he's said to traumatised and disturbed by his past.
do we know if there are any ex-jws who were also diagnosed with the same or similar kind of mental illness/disorder?

I've followed the trial closely and must admit the GAD stuff struck a real cord with me. I'm not diagnosed and likely never will be but i see a lot of the signs in myself.

Sometimes, there are no icons at all when I post on here apart from: font size drop down box / select background colour / insert non breaking space.
This has happened now so i can look and see what options I have available and those 3 are it.
If this happens, which it does about 50% of the time, i just submit the post anyway and then immediately edit it and then magically ALL the options become available like emoticons / picture insertion etc ect.
So it could be you have no option to put a picture in until you submit and then edit the post.

by OUTLAW in.. the new wbt$ donation arrangement/ jw kingdom hall bank account theft... is a very hot topic right now... the wbt$ is literally going to clean out kingdom hall bank accounts,filled with donations from jws... that theft is going to happen world wide..the wbt$ is going to steal from 7 million plus jw`s... .. we have jw elders here on jwn,that know whats going on... they "serve" in kingdom halls,they are "supposed" to be looking after the welfare of the average jw... they know there is a 4 page letter,only one page will be read to the congregation..the rest will be kept secret... they know the wbt$ is about to steal jw donations..on a world wide scale!!!...
.. i would like to know what you active jw elders are going to do about this??!!...
are you going to let "your" congregation know about the other 3 secret pages?...

Yes me too, it said there was content from a known malware infected site, (an image meme site) so someone linked to an image there. It doesnt mean it is infected just that it could be.

Hey guys, need some help.
by bobert ina few of my buds are hanging out tonight, and i rarely get the oppurtunity to hang with my "worldly" friends.
really, i'm only able to if my parents aren't around.
my parents know i don't believe in the truth, and that i'm moving out in around two weeks.

"Rarely" would be under your current circumstances, right? But in a few weeks time you will be out of their house and you can adjust those odds, correct?
No harm in being patient about it then really and not just giving your parents the finger tonight eh.
